Charters and more charters!! July was just great cruising from start to finish. We had lots of VIPs on board, television and magazine people, as well as new friends from some of the most well-known corporations in the country. Nice folks - everyone loved the Gansett, and the crew continues to excel at the kind hospitality and service that no other boat in town can offer. There's been a lot to see out on the bay - more yact racing than ever, including the weekly Wednesday night races by the local Sheilds owners - and lots of lobsering going on, too. Join us - it's a great ride on a beautiful boat. See you in Newport!.

The Lightouse Tour Schedule for September & October
August 1, 2008 - We're cruising all day, every day - 5 daily harbor tours, with complimentary beverages and nibbles on every cruise. It's been hot in town, but so cool out on the H20 (water!). There's always a breeze coming up the bay and since the Gansett has an open deck plan, you're able t enjoy the refreshing sea air. It's been calm, no big swells, and lots of traffic on the bay to watch. A few visiting military ships, lots of fabulous mega-yacts - the Eleanora, the Adele, and the Adela were in the shipyard, plus all the working fishing vessels in and out of port. We'll be looking at Newport's early Fall cruise ships soon, with over 90 ships making a call on the City By The Sea. Gansett cruises right up alongside the cruise ships - what a view! Join us!
